LIFE STORY AND EDUCATIONAL CAREER
Prof. Dr. İhsan Doğramacı was born in 1915 in Erbil, which was part of the Ottoman Empire. After graduating from Ankara University Faculty of Medicine, he studied pediatrics in the USA and England. When he returned to Türkiye, he began laying the foundations of Hacettepe University, which became one of Türkiye's leading teaching and research hospitals.
